What are Industrial Felt Sheets?
Industrial felt sheets are durable, non-fraying fabrics made from entangled and matted wool or synthetic fibers. Synthetic felts are typically made from polyester or acrylic fibers, while natural wool is sheared from sheep and creates high-quality felt. Most industrial felts are not dyed and, therefore, retain the colors from natural wool. Grey and white felt are the most commonly seen and used, and while white wool is considered higher quality than grey, shades may vary.
