Filled PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is a synthetic fluoropolymer with added components for enhanced properties. Also known by the brand name Teflon™, PTFE is a plastic material that can be used for many applications. It is among the most versatile plastic materials and has the lowest friction properties of any fluoroplastic.
